This is the second time I have booked the wonderful, thoughtful and informative Hassan. He seems to know exactly what is required to ensure we have the very best experience.
We wanted to come out of the hubbub of Marrakech and get a real feel for the traditional rural life in the Atlas Mountains.

There are few words that can adequately give a true account of this transformative walk through the passes of the Atlas Mountains.
Firstly, we want to thank Hassan for creating and sharing this opportunity with us. His tour is not a tour, but a humbling life lesson.
A walk through the trails of Imlil brought us to the reality of the lives of: our Atlas mountains guide, Lhcan – warm, patient and possessing a keen sense of humour – who, as we weaved along the trails, wove a tapestry of stories of the Amazigh’s history, culture and traditions; our host, Abdo, who so generously received us at his bountiful table for lunch and; the master breadmaker, Aicha, who, quite simply, radiates warmth and love with her eternal humanity AND makes the absolutely best bread we’ve ever tasted. These people, and the women, men and children, we met along the way, reflect the environment with their strength, resilience, fortitude and timeless beauty.
The time it took these two travellers to navigate the trails transformed us and will never be forgotten.
It is hard to put into words the humbling experience of the Atlas Mountains. I have returned to my demanding job, my array of Ninja products and digital life and reflected on the simplicity of the lives that were so graciously shared with us. The peacefulness, the kindness and the way of life was magical to be part of for the day. Thank you Hassan for this wonderful experience 💙
